Born December 8th 1986

Having spent my whole life in Cornwall, I felt i had to leave the comfort/ safety and persue my career in a larger media based city. And thus I'm currently studying a BA (hons) in Media and Communication at the University of Central England- Birmingham. I miss the beaches though.

I loved growing up in Cornwall as I felt it was a very inspirational setting for my wild imagination and creativity. Just like any kid, I loved to experiment and get messy and this is where art came in. I was always interested in art, but it wasnt untill secondary school that i realised I wanted to take my art career alittle further. However, I was also very influenced by Films and music and so i decided to take a media studies class.

But, when I started college, i realised i didnt want to pigeon-hole myself with one skill; backing up my art and media career with photography and Film studies. The mixture of courses combined well with eachother but also guided my work into areas i wouldn't normally think of.

Within the first couple of days at UCE, webdesign became a huge gateway. I felt upset that i no longer did an artistic subject, and I felt i needed to utilise my artist skills within my designs.

I have alot of drive and passion, and am a perfectionist; Its not worth doing unless 110% is placed into the project...

Here are a few of my favourite things: hanging out with my friends, creating awesome art, graphics or photography, spending time on the beach, camping, drawing in my sketchbook, trying to sing, playing sports, night time walks, completing anything, black and white photography and films that make you think.....
